A Widespread Snowfall Blankets the Pyrenees

Snow returns to Pirineu365 with accumulations of between 10 and 30 centimeters on its slopes, representing a notable improvement in conditions ahead of Christmas at the six resorts managed by FGC.

Widespread snowfall overnight on Monday left accumulations of between 10 and 30 centimeters of new snow at the six resorts integrated under the PIRINEU365 brand, according to information provided by the resorts themselves early in the morning. The most significant accumulations occurred in Boí Taüll, where up to 30 centimeters of fresh snow were recorded.

By resort, the fresh snow accumulations are distributed as follows: Boí Taüll has accumulated 30 centimeters; Port Ainé, 25; Espot Esquí, 20; Vall de Núria and Vallter, 15 centimeters each; and La Molina, 10 centimeters. This is a significant contribution, especially at higher altitudes, which consolidates the existing snowpack and notably improves snow quality on the slopes.

The snowfall was accompanied by a drop in temperature and widespread precipitation throughout the Pyrenees, at a particularly strategic moment of the season. With the resorts fully operational and a notable influx of skiers and visitors, this event timely reinforces conditions for winter sports.
