Three nights with the Backstreet Boys inaugurate the 2025 ski season in Austria: music, snow, and 50,000 attendees in Schladming-Dachstein.
Winter kicks off at full throttle in Austria. The Schladming-Dachstein resort will host one of the biggest musical spectacles of the year in December, with the third Backstreet Boys concert, scheduled for December 5, 2025, already sold out in almost all categories. Only a few VIP tickets remain available.
With three consecutive nights at the Planai Stadium, the season opening gathers 50,000 attendees in an unprecedented event for Austrian winter tourism. According to Klaus Leutgeb, the event producer, “Never before has a ski opening achieved three full stadiums in a single weekend. This sets a new standard for international projection for the region.”
Music and snow as a calling card
The festival transforms Schladming into the epicenter of the European winter. Beyond the concerts, visitors will enjoy the ski slopes across 4 Mountains—Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm— alongside a gastronomic and leisure offering that reinforces the region's position as a tourism benchmark.
Options still remain for those seeking an exclusive experience. Diamond VIP packages offer priority access, a gala dinner, and reserved seating. There are also special tickets for the Hohenhaus Tenne, with direct views of the stage and access to the official opening party after the concerts.
