Baqueira Beret Reaches Mid-Season with Up to 200 cm of Snow and Full Opening Expected

Baqueira Beret reaches the halfway point of the 2025-2026 season in one of the winter's strongest moments. After two weeks of intense snowfall, accumulating up to 200 centimeters of new snow, the resort in Val d’Aran and Valls d’Àneu faces February with full winter conditions and the prospect of opening all 173 kilometers of skiable terrain.

The precipitation, accompanied by low and stable temperatures, has consolidated a homogeneous base throughout the domain, allowing the opening of practically all 127 slopes and three itineraries distributed across its four sectors. The main lifts are operating normally, facilitating fluid skiing across the 2,273 hectares of skiable area.

Snow depth on the slopes currently ranges between 190 and 200 centimeters, with uniform quality from the lower altitudes, around 1,500 meters, to the higher areas. Extensive sectors such as Beret, Dossau descents, Clòt der Os or Costarjàs, along with the Bonaigua and Peülla areas, offer alternatives for all levels, even on high-traffic days.

With two months of the season still ahead, the resort combines optimal technical conditions with an agenda that includes sports, gastronomy, and après-ski ambiance. On Saturday, February 14, the fifth edition of Copo Loco will take place, a competition organized by Copos Ski Club for U8, U10, and U12 categories, bringing together young skiers for a day focused on the fundamentals of alpine skiing.

During the weekend of February 13-15, the resort will also feature the gastronomic brand Vicio, which will set up its food truck next to Baqueira Bar 1.500. The offering will combine burgers, DJ sessions, and a festive atmosphere, extending the experience beyond the slopes. Regular DJs will also liven up spaces like Moët Winter Lounge and various terraces within the domain, consolidating the social character of the enclave.

In parallel, all on-slope and resort center restaurant services remain operational, with options ranging from quick bites to more leisurely dining experiences. The resort's travel agency maintains accommodation availability and offers special three and five-day packages, while Hotel Montarto, located at the base of the slopes, continues to accept reservations for the coming weeks.
