Baqueira Beret Strengthens Seasonal Employee Housing Program

Baqueira Beret has announced the start of the second season of its employee housing rental program, an initiative that in 2024-2025 already allowed all positions to be filled, preventing a lack of accommodation from becoming an obstacle to the resort’s operations.

In tourist destinations such as Val d’Aran and Valls d’Àneu, access to affordable and quality housing for seasonal workers represents a growing challenge. Aware of this reality, Baqueira Beret has designed a system that benefits both new employees—especially those without previous ties to the area—and homeowners who wish to rent with full guarantees.

The program facilitates the integration of professionals through rental contracts made directly between property owners and the resort, which provides complete legal security, transparency in payments, and peace of mind for both parties. Last season, more than 6,000 accommodation days were registered through this system.

One of the most valued points by landlords is that Baqueira Beret assumes responsibility for any damage that may occur during the rental period, as well as necessary maintenance tasks. Furthermore, compliance with coexistence rules and exclusive use by Baqueira Beret Group employees is guaranteed.

The rental duration is flexible, adapting to winter or summer seasons, and the resort maintains a strong commitment to managing and monitoring each case.
