Brian Head Resort ushers in the 2025-26 season with over six months of skiing, accessible passes, guaranteed snow, renovated parks, and state-of-the-art equipment, solidifying its position as Southern Utah's premier destination.
Brian Head Resort is poised to open its doors on November 7, 2025, kicking off a season that promises to be historic. With an investment of over $1.4 million in enhancements, the resort aims not only to maintain its reputation as the region's premier ski destination but also to elevate every visitor's experience.
A longer, more accessible season
This winter's calendar extends until May 10, 2026, weather permitting, offering over six months of mountain activity. Last season, Brian Head became the first Utah ski resort to operate daily for 181 days, a record it now seeks to consolidate.
With lift tickets starting at $14, the resort has reduced prices by 26% compared to last year thanks to a dynamic model that rewards early planning. Children under 12 ski for free all season, without conditions or restrictions, a thoughtful and generous family gesture.
Innovation in Snow
At Navajo Mountain, enhanced snowmaking will ensure that beginner and intermediate slopes open earlier and close later, extending on-piste hours. This investment complements previous advancements in grooming and snowmaking systems that already positioned Brian Head as a leader in efficiency and reliability.
At Giant Steps Mountain, freestyle riders will find a renovated Bypass Terrain Park, designed with new jump lines that invite both beginners and experts alike. It is a space that breathes creativity and adrenaline, conceived so that each run is distinct from the last.
Latest-Generation Equipment and Services
The resort has updated its rental fleet with over 400 new pairs of skis and 250 new snowboards, including high-performance models from HEAD Performance. This ensures that visitors, regardless of their skill level, have access to modern, safe equipment tailored to their needs.
Off-piste, Brian Head also innovates in connectivity. A new SMS alert system will allow guests to receive real-time updates on snow conditions, lift and trail openings, event schedules, and much more. A tool that brings the mountain to your pocket and allows for precise day planning.
