Thanks to a new collaboration with OLOID Engineering GmbH, DEMACLENKO has developed an innovative, efficient, and low-consumption solution for the circulation and aeration of water reservoirs used in artificial snow production. The OLOID system is presented as an alternative to traditional compressed air aeration, offering operational, installation, and maintenance advantages.

OLOID Technology: Three-Dimensional Mixing and Adaptability

At the heart of this innovation is a mixer device with exclusive geometry that, through specific movements, generates specific flows and waves in the water. This effect ensures a homogeneous mixing of temperature layers and optimizes reservoir management.

Installed on a floating platform, the system is placed directly on the water's surface, automatically adjusts to level changes, and can be integrated into both new installations and existing reservoirs.

Thermal Control and Ice Prevention

In reservoirs, thermal stratification of the water can affect snow production. During winter, the circulation generated by OLOID breaks this stratification and prevents the formation of a solid ice layer, keeping the surface operational even at sub-zero temperatures.

In summer, the same mixing action prevents algae proliferation, improves water quality, and reduces the need for frequent cleaning.

The efficiency of the OLOID system minimizes the energy consumption of the snow production process, optimizing the performance of cooling towers or eliminating the need for compressed air. Furthermore, in new projects, it allows for a reduction in initial investment, as it does not require pipes or compressors. Commissioning is quick, and maintenance is minimal.
