The proposal allows access to La Molina and Vall de Núria by train, integrating transport with the ski pass and promoting a more sustainable and affordable way to travel to the snow.
The combined ticket offer, Skitren and TreNatura, promoted by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) and Rodalies de Catalunya, has been relaunched for another year. This consolidated initiative facilitates public transport access to several major ski resorts and natural enclaves in the Catalan Pyrenees.
The Skitren La Molina includes a round trip on R3 line trains from L'Hospitalet de Llobregat to La Molina, with intermediate stops such as Vic, the bus connection from the train station to the slopes, and a daily ski pass with insurance included. This ticket is offered at a fixed price of 53 euros for adults and 41.50 euros for children, and will be available until April 5, 2026. It can be purchased both through the Renfe website and at any Rodalies de Catalunya station.
Meanwhile, the Skitren Vall de Núria includes a round trip on the R3 line to Ribes de Freser, the Cremallera train journey to Vall de Núria, and a daily ski pass with insurance included. The ticket costs 47.70 euros for adults and 40.20 euros for children, and will also be available until April 5, 2026 through Renfe's usual channels.
The proposal is expanded with TreNatura, an option designed for those who wish to enjoy the natural environment of Vall de Núria without skiing. This product includes a round trip by train to Ribes de Freser and the Cremallera train ride to the valley. TreNatura will be available daily until November 30, 2026 — although during November only on weekends and holidays — and costs 40.20 euros for adults and 30.70 euros for children.
The combined Skitren and TreNatura tickets offer savings of up to 30% compared to purchasing each service individually and reinforce the commitment to more sustainable mobility to mountain resorts, helping to reduce the use of private vehicles on access roads to the Pyrenees.
