Grandvalira returns to the alpine skiing elite by hosting a downhill and two super-Gs of the Women's World Cup, solidifying its position as a top-tier venue on the international calendar.
The Grandvalira resort will once again become a main focus of the international women's alpine ski calendar when El Tarter hosts a new edition of the AUDI FIS Ski World Cup Andorra 2026 from February 25 to March 1, 2026.
Organising this event reinforces the projection of the Andorran ski area as a regular venue for the circuit, cementing its relevance within the women's World Cup calendar and demonstrating its organisational solvency at the highest level.
A list of the 60 best female alpine ski specialists, from 16 nationalities, will gather for three speed events. A second super-G will be added to the initially scheduled downhill and super-G, incorporated after the suspension of the Zauchensee (Austria) event on January 11. The calendar will include official training days on February 25 and 26, the downhill (DH) on Friday the 27th, and the two super-Gs (SG) on Saturday the 28th and Sunday, March 1st.
Among the athletes who will participate in the AUDI FIS Ski World Cup Andorra 2026, immediately after their participation in the Milan–Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Olympics, are some of the speed circuit's biggest names. Spectators will see Italian Sofía Goggia, current leader of the super-G standings; New Zealander Alice Robinson; German Emma Aicher; and the legendary Lindsey Vonn (United States), one of the most mediatic and influential skiers in alpine skiing history.
This will be the sixth occasion the World Cup is held in Soldeu El Tarter, following the 2012, 2016, 2019, 2023, and 2024 editions, and the fourth time the competition takes place on the Àliga slope, a regular venue for speed events. This course, coupled with the fact that Soldeu El Tarter is part of the exclusive Club5, which brings together the most prestigious venues on the circuit, continues to solidify the Andorran ski area as one of the international benchmarks in alpine skiing.
