Jaume Pueyo secured a commendable seventh place in the FIS Cross-Country World Cup Freestyle Sprint held in Oberhof, Germany, marking the best result ever for a Spanish sprinter in this discipline.

The cross-country skier from Club d’Esquí de Fons Alt Urgell (CEFUC) delivered a top-tier performance in a race characterized by extremely demanding competition. This result gains even greater significance as it occurred just two weeks before the start of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, confirming his excellent form in the decisive stretch of the season.
