Magic Mountain Kicks Off Season With Notable Enhancements

Magic Mountain approaches the new season with an ambitious series of infrastructure upgrades and snowmaking system enhancements, aimed at offering a safer, more efficient, and enduring experience for its visitors.

Furthermore, the resort has undertaken the complete replacement of the lower snowmaking circuit's pipeline, from the ledges of Black Line to the summit of Show Off, passing through Red Line. The new six-inch diameter pipeline will improve system pressure and flow, allowing for more stable and efficient snow production.

Adding to this renovation is the arrival of six new fixed HKD snow guns and high-efficiency nozzles for many of the existing units. These improvements will be concentrated especially in the new Abracadabra area, intended for advanced beginners, and in the lower part of Hocus Pocus, optimizing access to the quad chairlift. Thanks to these advancements, Magic Mountain anticipates significantly increasing snow production for lessons and night skiing.

The resort has also confirmed an early season opening during the Thanksgiving weekend, featuring a man-made snow trail descending from the Green Chair lift, in addition to the activation of the Abracadabra area with the surface lift. As part of the celebration, an exclusive day will be organized for Black Friday season pass holders, with lift service, champagne toast, and live music at the Tavern, open to the general public.
