New Project Takes Shape in the Valais Alps.

In 4 Vallées, the Lac des Vaux chairlift project by Bartholet Maschinenbau is already underway, promising greater fluidity, shorter waits, and a renewed alpine experience that is safe and connected to the essence of Valais.

In the heart of the Valais Alps, where peaks merge with the horizon and snow seems eternal, a new project is taking shape: the Lac des Vaux 6-seater chairlift, designed by Bartholet Maschinenbau. It is an infrastructure that promises fluidity, comfort, and a step towards the future for the 4 Vallées resort, one of Switzerland's most legendary.

A modern installation that will be capable of transporting 1,600 people per hour with its 28 chairs designed to withstand the wind. The 735-meter length will be covered in a breath, offering travelers a more comfortable and protected journey.

The design of the new chairs incorporates a recess in the backrest that reduces the surface area exposed to wind. An innovation that not only guarantees safety but also echoes the sound of the mountain, adapting to its untameable character.

Thanks to its altitude and reliable snow, Lac des Vaux ensures one of the longest seasons in the Alps. And with the new chairlift, the descent will be more accessible.
