NIX: We Are Snow People, A Grandvalira Resorts Documentary

Illa Carlemany cinemas hosted the official premiere of NIX: We are people of snow, a documentary promoted by Grandvalira Resorts and produced by the Andorran studio Citric. The film offers an intimate and reflective portrait of the connection between people, snow, and the mountains of Andorra, exploring the identity and way of life built around this natural environment. Living the mountain with respect, simplicity, and commitment, as an essential part of the country's identity, thus becomes an authentic ode to snow culture like no other.

The event gathered around 300 people, including institutional representatives, the production team, and professionals from Andorra's snow sector, who filled the hall for the first viewing of a work filmed over two winters. The documentary aims to compete in various international festivals, establishing itself as a production seeking to project the culture and the country's relationship with its natural environment beyond its borders.

Following the excellent reception of the premiere, Grandvalira Resorts and Citric are already working to ensure that NIX: We are people of snow reaches a wider audience in the coming weeks. Their goal is to organize new screenings and expand the documentary's distribution to audiovisual platforms and specialized channels.

The film will continue its international journey with its participation in the Torelló Mountain Film Festival, where it will be presented on November 20, and with its application to the Banff Mountain Film Festival in Canada, considered one of the most prestigious competitions in the world in its category.
