Porsche Takes the Spirit of the 911 to the Mountains

Porsche enters the ski world with collaborations alongside Nørrona and HEAD, merging luxury, style, and alpine adventure.

In the world of luxury, some icons transcend their category. The Porsche 911 is one such icon: a symbol of pure design, freedom, and a constant pursuit of performance. This winter, that same spirit leaves the asphalt to conquer the mountains.

Porsche has announced two collaborations that mark a new synergy between automotive power, technical fashion, and the mountains. On one hand, the Norwegian brand Nørrona reinterprets its renowned Lofoten line through the minimalist and functional lens of the German manufacturer. GORE-TEX jackets and pants, alongside a warm fleece piece, condense the DNA of both brands: clean design, cutting-edge materials, and an uncompromising focus on the experience. As Jørgen Jørgenson, owner of Nørrona, said: "The Lofoten collection is our Porsche 911."

On the other hand, HEAD pays homage to the 60th anniversary of the 911 Targa with a collection that translates the speed, precision, and elegance of the sports car into two exceptional skis: the Series 7, designed to carve turns on groomed slopes like a car on a track, and the Series 8, an all-mountain model for fluid gliding on both packed snow and off-piste. Details such as the 911 silhouette engraved on the top sheet and EMC technology reinforce the connection between both worlds.

The ensemble is completed with a range of high-performance accessories: bindings, helmets with photochromic visors, goggles that automatically adapt to light conditions, and carbon poles. Pieces conceived for those who understand that elegance also resides in technical precision.

With these collaborations, Porsche translates its philosophy of movement and freedom to skiing, reinforcing the idea that luxury and adventure no longer inhabit separate spheres, but coexist within the same alpine lifestyle. The collections will be available in November 2025 at Porsche.com, Porsche Design Stores, specialist retailers, and official Nørrona and HEAD stores.
