Porsche to Partner with Key Ski Brands

There's something hypnotic about witnessing the precision of automotive engineering permeate the world of snow. And we're not just talking about sponsorships or aesthetic campaigns. We're talking about a real, palpable fusion, where design and performance meet on the slope. Porsche, a universal symbol of speed and elegance, has teamed up with Nørrona and HEAD to redefine high-end skiing this winter.

Porsche x Nørrona: Norwegian style with a German soul

Inspired by alpine freeride and the frozen landscapes of St. Moritz, this collaboration stems from the personal experience of Michael Mauer, Vice President Style at Porsche. Skiing in a Nørrona jacket in the Swiss Alps, Mauer was impressed by its functionality and clean aesthetic. A meeting with Jørgen Jørgensen, owner of Nørrona, did the rest.

The result is a reinterpretation of the men's Lofoten line: a GORE-TEX jacket and pants with technical insulation, and a fleece jacket, all featuring the unmistakable "loaded minimalism" that characterizes both the Norwegian brand and Porsche designs. Jørgensen sums it up bluntly: "Our Lofoten collection is the Porsche 911 of skiing."

HEAD x Porsche: carving on snow with a 911 spirit

The most powerful collaboration comes with the Porsche HEAD collection, designed to transfer the sports car driving experience to the mountain. The goal? To make every turn, every descent, feel like a high-speed slalom on a race track.

The protagonists are two new models:

• Porsche Series 7: 70 mm underfoot ski, sharp, reactive, and designed for carving on hard snow. Inspired by giant slalom, it promises perfect turns with surgical precision.
• Porsche Series 8: All-mountain with 88 mm underfoot, wide tip and tail. Agile on-piste, daring off-piste. Pure balance between power and versatility.

Both models integrate HEAD's EMC technology, which reduces vibrations using a Graphene carbon system, and are adorned with visual details that evoke the silhouette of the iconic 911 Targa.
