As the calendar for the upcoming season begins to take shape on the peninsula, Sierra Nevada once again stands out. The Granadan resort has revealed—indirectly, but highly anticipated—the key dates for its upcoming 2025/26 season. With the close of the early bird sale period for long-term passes and the opening of day passes, the resort hints at its plans: an anticipated opening on November 29 and a closing on April 26, always subject to snow conditions.

This decision positions Sierra Nevada as one of the most ambitious resorts on the national scene. While most will conclude the season around April 5 or 6, coinciding with the end of Easter, the Andalusian resort is preparing to offer three additional weeks of skiing under the spring sun of the high mountains.

Beyond profitability, this commitment reaffirms Sierra Nevada's philosophy: to maximize its altitude, orientation, and snow-holding capacity when other resorts have already closed. It is also an invitation to the local tourism and business sector to extend activity and continue generating movement at the resort even in warmer months.

The close of the early bird sale period also brings positive news: revenue has grown by 1.6% compared to last year, a sign of confidence from regular skiers and those who find in Sierra Nevada more than just a ski resort: a mountain experience enjoyed well into spring.
